Abstract :
A single crankshaft of 8L250 diesel engine using a finite element model is established, which used Pro-E and ANSYS-workbench software in this paper, and a finite element analysis is done in force and displacement boundary conditions. The maximum stress point is found, and under the premise of not affecting the basic structure of the crankshaft the optimization improvements to reduce the stress concentration are presented, and the specific methods for quantitative analysis are executed so that the crankshaft will achieve to the best result of optimization.
