Abstract :
A high-speed integrated laser driver and controller circuit in standard CMOS technology works flexibly with optical recording formats such as CD-R/RW, DVD+RW, DVD write-once and DVR. It supports both constant angular velocity (CAV) and constant linear velocity (CLV) writing modes, and features a new laser power control method
