Abstract
The recently completed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport was the largest air base to commercial airport conversion in the years 1980 to 2000. It presented an ideal opportunity to modernize air traffic control facilities and equipment. Highlights of the upgraded functionality, transition problems encountered and three phase cutover are provided
