Abstract
Infra-red (IR) systems are popularly used. However, they are not able to perform well under even poor weather with fog, clouds and light drizzle, which are effectively transparent at millimeter wavelength. In this paper we introduced a theoretically analyzing model of focal plane array for millimeter wave imaging system, which is similar to the IR and optical one. Based on this model we calculated and simulated the imaging process combined with Planck´s black body radiation principles. Meanwhile the noise and atmosphere flow are also considered. Then super resolution algorithm (Lucy-Richardson (L-R) algorithm) is applied to restore the poor image
