Abstract :
This paper describes an architecture for Internet-based service provisioning to home networks. A residential gateway is introduced to enable access to the Internet for multiple devices, and to serve as a service execution platform. The service software is implemented in Java and dynamically downloaded and installed at the residential gateway following the Open Service Gateway Initiative (OSGI) specification
