  • Abstract
This paper presents a new simple curvature-compensated CMOS voltage reference, which utilizes different temperature-dependent resistors, peaking current mirror circuit and subthreshold technology. Designed in a standard 0.5-¿m CMOS technology, the proposed circuit achieves the reference voltage variation of 2.97 mV for supply voltage ranging from 1.6 to 5 V and 0.6 mV for temperature varying from -20 to 80°C. It generates a reference voltage of 416 mV and consumes a supply current of 0.86 ¿A at 27°C and less than 1 ¿A at 80°C. The occupied area is 0.037 mm2.
