Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of generation of an adaptive quick-look. Firstly, the authors describe a method of adaptive filtering that smoothes an image while preserving cartographic structuring features or interesting regions of the image. This method can be applied for two main applications: generation of an adaptive quick-look or compression. The authors describe in this paper the first one. They propose a new method to emphasise features of interest after undersampling of the image
