Abstract :
The electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS) system model were established by analyzing the structure and dynamic characteristics of EHPS system. The better performance adaptive fuzzy PID control strategy was proposed, which was studied by simulating on the varied conditions. The simulation results show that the improved adaptive fuzzy PID controller has more satisfactory steering characteristics,and the disturbance resisting ability is stronger than the conventional PID controller.To evaluate the model and the simulation results, an experiment was carried out on the test bed with EHPS system device, and the results show that the theoretical analyses and simulations are according with the experiment.
