Abstract
This presentation details how the US Navy and it\´s contractor WDT&A partnered and is building a series of intelligent electronic support tools for missile hardware, production, depot and Intermediate Level test equipment. The missile manufacturer, Raytheon Missile Systems Company is expected to join in the project later this year, (1999). By adopting and using a third-party COTS expert system development environment, the STANDARD Missile Program is capturing expert knowledge much more efficiently, fielding runtimes sooner and saving money, over previous "built all in-house" approaches
