  • Abstract
Attractive features of the UWB technology are low cost and low system complexity. In order to reduce the system complexity of the conventional circuit structure, a novel and simple circuit structure is designed in this paper, and a new fully integrated single-user digital receiver for TH-UWB communications is proposed. Based on this scheme, the theoretical analysis on the whole single-user digital receiver of the system is given. After the design of the circuit and layout on the whole receiver system is completed, the post simulation is carried out. In the receiver system, the frequency of the reference clock is set to 864 MHz, and the data rate, 54 Mb/s, and the PN code rate, 216 Mb/s. The simulation results show that the receiver can achieve the data code recovery correctly.
