Abstract :
A simulation based BPR methodology using high level Petri net model, as well as the corresponding support tools are explored in this paper. First, a BPR oriented business process model based on high level Petri net (PNPM) is proposed. And its modeling approach is further discussed. Then, a BPR methodology based on simulation is suggested. According to the suggested methodology, a high level Petri net based BPR support tools (HP-BPR) is designed and one of its core modules, the modeling module, is developed and illustrated by example.
