Abstract :
Multiple-input multiple-output with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is one of the promising schemes for future wireless communication systems. However, the carrier frequency-offset (CFO) and dispersive channels are great challenges in practice. In this paper, a new method is proposed to jointly track channel and CFO parameters in MIMO-OFDM for mobile user. The initial values of channels and CFO are first estimated jointly based on maximum likelihood (ML) criterion using one pilot symbol and then the CFO and time-varying channels are tracked by exploiting the finite alphabet (FA) property of the transmitted symbols. Simulation results show that the proposed method has well tracking performance in typical urban channel model
