Abstract :
Tutorials are the most effective way to convert the educational process into human knowledge. The tutor studies the student´s efficiency and capabilities and produces diagnostics on specific student characteristics. The tutor designs specific strategies in order to achieve the best results in the learning process. The function of the tutorial can be defined as a process of continuous evaluation and process of modification of all the elements involved in the learning process, taking into account the particular endogenous and exogenous of the individual student. We present the design and development of an expert system tool for intelligent educational systems. All the knowledge stored in the knowledge base is represented as an area tree. We should emphasise that the system incorporates a user-friendly interface, an online help similar to Windows 95 and files.avi, where the user can see the decision-making process in an area step by step
