Abstract :
The product family configuration method based on CBR (case-based reasoning) extension classification with matter-element model of Extenics theory was introduced aiming at the rapidity in product configuration of large complex product. Firstly, a product family case matter element was confirmed by the information of product family BOM structure. According to functional characteristics of products, the influence factors of product family configuration based on CBR could be adopted to establish the classical and limited matter elements, the dependent function of matter-element and extension sets are applied to evaluate the effects of product configuration. Moreover, an under test matter-element model was built with configuration requirements; the classification of the sample could be obtained by means of classification analysis. The results show that the optimal choice for the most similar product family case can be reflected and the rapidity of configuration also could be promoted.
