Abstract :
A new concept of a novel prototype electromagnetic induction fluid heating appliance using series capacitor-compensated load resonant high-frequency inverter with a phase-shifted PWM and power factor correction schemes. Its operating characteristics in steady-state are illustrated and evaluated using the computer simulation and experimental results. From a practical point of view, a promising cost effective application of this electromagnetic induction fluid heating appliance is proposed, which is more suitable for industrial, chemical and consumer pipeline systems
