Suboptimal Control of Linear Discrete Large-Scale Systems with State Time-Delay

This paper concerns with the problems of suboptimal control for linear discrete large-scale systems with state time-delay. By introducing a sensitivity parameter, the original two-point boundary value problems with both time-delay and time-advance terms are transformed to infinite series of problems with no time-delay or time-advance terms. These new problems are relatively easy to solve. Solving the frontal finite problems of each series, we obtain a suboptimal control law.
