Abstract :
MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) configuration is a popular method for high data wireless transmission. In this paper an adaptive modulation scheme for MIMO channels was addressed. Assuming a block fading channel model and perfect knowledge of channel state, we invested adaptive modulation scheme that provides better throughput under the constraints on the power of each antenna analog front-end (AFE) which is the case of applications. Our analysis is based on the convex optimization. Then a low-complexity iterative bit-loading algorithm implementing this solution is also developed. The performance of the scheme is also examined through analysis and simulations
