Abstract :
A new continuous sliding mode control method has been developed by combining Variable structure system (VSS)and Lyapunov design. It possesses all the good properties of the sliding mode control and avoids the unnecessary discontinuity of the control input, thus eliminating chattering. This paper focus on the application of continuous sliding mode controller in speed regulation system of switched reluctance motor(SRM ), and gives the system scheme of SRM driver. The simulation results confirm that the new controller is easy to design, has better dynamic performance and robust property. In addition, the system has effectively eliminated chattering.
