Abstract :
The Digital Mock-Up (DMU) technology is one of the most significant means to the development and innovation of new products in modern manufacturing enterprises. The application of the DMU technology can help improve the quality of products, reduce the production cost and shorten development cycle. In this work, the DMU of the whole automobile chassis is constituted according to the unique characteristics of design and development for automobile chassis. The focus is on the DMU harmony analyses, including interference checking, disassembly and assembly simulation, space location, structure intensity and modal of vibration.. This paper also provides an optimal and instructive method to the design and development of other complex systems.
