Abstract :
A novel CMOS mixer topology aimed for the ´Model´ bands of Ultra Wideband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (UWB-OFDM) applications is proposed. This topology uses two bleeding sources to increase linearity and gain without affecting the other circuit performances. Using an L-input matching and optimized devices, it was possible to obtain a good operation of the proposed mixer all over the 3.1-4.8 GHz band with AMS 0.35 mum CMOS process parameters.
