Abstract :
A new compact low-voltage implementation of a truly universal capacitive threshold logic (LVUCTL) gate is introduced. This as opposed to previously reported implementations has true rail-to-rail input swing capabilities and for this reason it can be used to compare rail-to-rail input voltages generated from digital input signals ranging from all zeros to all ones. The design of high fan-in programmable m-out-of-n gates are discussed as application example.
