Abstract :
Some potential applications of the density functions to analysis and synthesis of nonlinear control systems have been studied by Rantzer and Parrilo (2000) and Rantzer and Ceragioli (2001). In this work we prove the necessity of the existence of a density function for a globally asymptotically stable dynamical system.
