Abstract :
Utilizing renewable energy is so important for saving common fossil energy and reducing extraction, that it is encouraged by every country. In this paper, the principles of temperature distribution of water in large reservoirs for hydro generation was introduced, and exploitability of natural energy of outflow water from reservoirs was analyzed, and a typical example of a new kind of central air conditioning system using reservoir´s discharged water to cool rooms directly was presented. Then, design conception, experience of selecting terminal devices, characteristics of performance, and energy conservation and economical efficiency of the central air conditioning system were discussed. The case study showed that utilization of the natural energy of outflow water from reservoirs in air conditioning systems is economical, energy saving and environmental protective.
