  • Abstract
    The airflow field inside an air-conditioned highway sleeper coach was numerically investigated in this paper. The three-dimensional RNG k- ε turbulence model was to simulate indoor airflow field of the coach. The solar radiation and the heat exchange of the passengers were taken into account. The temperature field, the velocity distribution and the concentration distribution of carbon dioxide inside the compartment were obtained and greatly influenced by solar radiation and non-uniform inlet air flow.
