  • Abstract
    According to wind resource data in different parts, the characteristic wind speeds of wind turbine were calculated. From low cost considerations, the characteristic wind speeds of wind turbine were optimized, the diameters of wind wheel were shortened and the difficulty of technology was reduced, in order to design the wind turbine. Finally the thesis contrasted and validated by Experimental analysis and simulation. The results showed that: power output of the new airfoil wind turbine is improved by the characteristic wind speed of optimized design, and in four different actual wind farm wind turbine generating capacity per unit area increased by 28.4% than the conventional airfoil wind turbine.
