Abstract
The metasynthesis methodology, i.e. metasynthesis engineering for solving open complex problems was proposed in 1990, which was to combine the human’s mind and the computer’s capability. And a theoretical framework of the implement of metasynthetic engineering, i.e. the hall for workshop of metasynthetic engineering (HWME) was proposed in 1992.The central issue we address within our framework is to explore the metasynthetic engineering as a new intelligent field by means of artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering, system science, system thinking, Dialogue, knowledge management and www technology, which involves experts, computer, intranet and internet, which meta-synthesize the human intelligence, the high capability of computer, the intercourse platform–intranet-of knowledge creativity and organizational creativity, the collective intelligence on some certain topic of millions of web users from the internet, which emerges the collective intelligence from the network of HWME established by the inter-response embodied in the contents of interactions among components. And we have developed the algorithm tools, i.e. analysis of the link structure of HWME to distill the emergent collective wisdom on some topic.
