Abstract :
The United States Advance Battery Consortium (USABC) has established a set of performance goals for electric vehicle batteries. Although the USABC performance criteria present a fairly challenging goal for battery developers, the most daunting task will undoubtedly be to meet the cost requirements. The authors discuss a battery that may meet the cost requirements-Li polymer battery. The solid redox polymerisation electrode and its performance in Li polymer batteries is also discussed
