Abstract :
Fuzzy logic has been growing in popularity as an alternative to traditional control logic. Recent studies have explored utilizing fuzzy logic for character recognition, with the major drawback being the “slowness” of common software approaches. This paper reviews one such study, and then propose how a system can be architected utilizing new hardware developments, overcoming the performance issues of the previous software approaches
