Abstract :
This paper shows the parameter identification and power quality analysis for a discharge lamp metal halide with electromagnetic ballast. The parameters identification was performed by the implementation and optimization of non linear system model. The power calculation and power index calculation was done for the electrical analysis in order to compare between the simulated and measured variables, for the validation of the optimized parameters. The analysis of power quality is based on the standard IEEE 1459-2010.
