Abstract :
This paper presents the design of U-shaped microstrip slot antenna to achieve triple-frequency operation by using a microstrip line. This antenna is designed for WLAN and X-band applications at resonance frequency 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz and 8.3 GHz. The characteristics of antenna are proposed and analyzed for instance S11 parameter, input impedance, VSWR, current density, and far field radiation patterns. The antenna is analyzed by finite difference time domain (FDTD) method which can predict and analysis the electromagnetic response of complex problems
