Abstract :
The massive utilization of Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles supposes more electrical loads that represent an extra effort for current distribution systems. This paper is intended to assess the impact of incorporating this new burden not only from a steady state perspective but also from a spectral viewpoint (harmonics performance) under a non-controllable recharging battery system is used. So, a methodological approach is presented, certain trials are performed in a test model and remarkable conclusions are stated at the end of the document.
