Abstract :
The channel mode of OCDMA system is interpreted first. Then a novel decoding of convolutional codes is proposed according to the characteristics of OCDMA system. And the feasibility of this decoding algorithm is proved with several illustrations. Performance of this convolutional decoding is studied compared with the traditional decoding, Viterbi algorithm. At last, it is concluded that this new decoding algorithm in OCDMA system could not only improve the decoding efficiency, but also raise the error robustness capability of convolutional codes.
