Abstract :
A series of active phased arrays (APA) is considered, which are intended for use in various systems. The given information indicates the possible uses of APA. The first group includes APA designed for the UHF band. These APA were developed for a satellite communication system which could work with the “MOLNIYA” relay high elliptical orbit. The system is suitable for transportable, aeroplane, automobile, ship, and subscriber station communications. The second APA group considered includes satellite transponders, and transmitting and receiving APA for different frequency bands
