Abstract
The paper proposes a combination of low+high resolution SAR acquisitions for differential SAR interferometry. It is shown that, given a DEM, most of the volume scattering decorrelation that would result from such a combination can be removed. As a possible application the authors propose a system that exploits the wide swath imaged by low-resolution ScanSAR modes for frequent revisiting of areas interested by crustal deformation phenomena
