Abstract :
Continuous-Phase Modulation (CPM) signal with bandwidth-efficiency and power-efficiency and constant envelope has been studied and used widely. In this paper, a new non-data aided estimator of the technical parameters of full responsible binary CPM signals, which can be used in non-cooperative communication receivers, is proposed. It consists in estimating the symbol rate and the frequency offset. The frequency offset estimator makes good use of the oversampling information. The simulation results show that the proposed symbol rate estimator is very efficiency and the frequency offset estimator is very good when the frequency offset is big, for example ΔfT=0.3, for full responsible binary CPM signals.
