Abstract :
the This work presents results of analysis of wave structures in atmosphere viewed in the real aperture side looking aircraft Ku-band radar (wave length 2.25 cm) images of sea surface. Near simultaneous contact measurements of meteorological parameters in imaged area are also available. Data obtained with these measurements allow the structures to be regarded as a surface manifestation of atmospheric internal waves, induced by cold atmosphere front motion. The study is based on the data obtained in July 1992 during JUSREX´92 in the test area near the US east coast
