Abstract :
The contribution provides a brief summary of a new book devoted to some faces of the knowledge society written by an international collective of authors lead by the author of this contribution. The goal of the book is to present some among the most important - at least according the opinion of it authors - aspects of the roles of knowledge in the emerging knowledge society.
