  • Abstract
    This paper proposed a quick modeling method based on the software CATIA, using an example of modeling and simulation of the engine fan of an imported sedan. The commercial software CFD was used to calculate and analyze the flow field of vehicle´s engine fan, combined with cooling fan experimental device. A preliminary checking of the performance of the engine fan was achieved, and the designing efficiency was also improved.
