Abstract :
Our research aims to develop methods with good fidelity and real-time nature for deformation simulation of human soft tissue for virtual surgery. In this paper, we propose a new method for the deformation simulation of soft tissue by combining mass-spring model with pressure based method. In addition, we build a virtual cornea deformation system using OpenGL 3D graphics standard based on mass-spring physical model. Then dynamic model of soft tissue deformation and its numerical integration algorithm are discussed. Using this modeling method, we complete the deformation simulation of cornea tissue and analyze the simulation result of our method.
