  • Abstract
    A new method of robust controller design is proposed and used to design a new chaos robust controller which can be used for transient air-fuel ratio control of electronic fuel injection gasoline engine. The simulation has been performed to compare the new chaos robust controller with the optimal robust controller and PI controller. The results show that the chaos robust controller of electronic fuel injection gasoline engine has a small overshoot, as well as the smooth transition and strong anti-interference control performance. The results of bench test show that the new chaos robust controller can effectively control the actual air-fuel ratio near the theoretical air-fuel ratio. When the inlet temperature is about 280°C, HC conversion rate reached 95.8%.
