Abstract :
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is one of the leading causes of death which underlie one third of the world´s death. The online monitoring and early warning message to cardiovascular system might protect sudden heart disease and save human´s life. Scientists have used various vital signs to detect and predict CVD, such as blood pressure (BP), electrocardiogram (ECG), sphygmogram (SPG) and pulse wave transmit time (PWTT). However, most home-used measurement instrument can sample only one sign at a time, plus the measurement is discontinues, uncomfortable due to wearing the ballonet for long time. In this paper, we propose a novel system, which can simultaneously sample multi vital signs including BP, ECG, SPG, PWTT and heart rate (HR) without wearing ballonet. This system is suitable for home usage and measure the ambulatory signals. The novel ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), front-end signal acquisition, multi signals extraction technology and the prototyping system are presented; the initial test shows that the system is prominent.
