  • Abstract
For traditional Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT), the power is cut off while shifting, which results in shifting jerk and longer shifting time. In this paper, the integrated powertrain used in the EV is put forward, which includes the motor and the AMT, this integrated powertrain can control the motor speed and the AMT together. Then it analyzes the shifting process, and does some research on the main factors which affect the AMT shifting quality in the EV. Finally, based on the experimental results, the system is optimized with better good shifting quality.
