Abstract :
Summary form only given. We have documented experimental results over a wide area network linking three network testbeds in New Jersey; each equipped with distinct network functionality. The testbed was comprised of five managed network elements, two wavelength add/drop multiplexers (WADMs) for user traffic access and three wavelength selective cross-connects (WSXCs) for network traffic routing. They are distributed on two WDM rings in three different geographical sites and operated in two network control and management (NC and M) domains
