Abstract :
As for the materials shortage for making exhaust value, which can´t meet the demand for the development of the engine, this paper develops that the present exhaust valve can be made of 40Cr steel strengthened by spraying. Its possibility is studied from the metal intensity and so on. The comparing test shows that the life of exhaust valve made of 40Cr steel can be increased four times than before.
