Abstract :
The biological effects on the human body of electromagnetic waves of cellular phones have become a major concern. This paper discusses the evaluation of energy deposition when the human head is approximated by the multilayered concentric spherical model and the cellular phone is by a half wavelength dipole. In this paper, the whole power absorption rate and peak value of specific absorption rate (SAR) in the frequency from 0.1 GHz to 3 GHz is calculated. Moreover, the distance dependence of power absorption rate and peak SAR is obtained
