Abstract :
The power absorption by the canonical human models proposed by the COST 244, i.e., homogeneous cubical and spherical models, located in the vicinity of antennas is measured by using the pattern integration method. A dipole antenna and a monopole antenna mounted on a conducting box are used at frequency of 1.5 GHz. The finite difference time domain (FDTD) analysis is also performed and the numerical results are compared with the experimental data. It is shown that the calculation agrees well with the measurement, which demonstrates the accuracy of the experimental setup
