Abstract
The development of real-time stereoscopic 3-dimensional computer vision is an important step in providing better artificial intelligence capabilities. This publication discusses the choice of the authors´ basic approach and the achievements done in this area in the 3D coordinates data acquisition, handling and calculations by the proposed binocular stereoscopic vision correlation analysis method, the preprocessor hardware synthesis and some results obtained in simple space shapes recognition
