Abstract
Service industry is an important driving force for the sustainable development of Guangdong´s economy in the future, and the shift from manufacturing-driven growth to service-driven growth should be promoted to improve the quality of Guangdong´s economic growth. In this paper, the authors first present an overview on Guangdong´s service industry, with those problems related to service industry development being illustrated in this and the following section.
