Abstract :
This paper describes a graphical user interface (GUI) which was developed to utilize a standard digitising tablet to sample the rhythmic muscle contractions experienced by people suffering from muscle tremor. The software, interface unit and database were developed using Delphi. The system has been extensively tested under simulated conditions and found to be remarkably accurate. The paper also discusses the database which was implemented to record and retrieve recordings for analysis purposes
