Abstract :
Calculation of electric field strength distributions inside and outside the body, which is exposed to the emissions from the cellular phones, is made under several different conditions, by using the FDTD method with an imaginary microwave-absorbed material constructed the absorption boundary of the region under consideration. The cellular phone is modeled as a monopole antenna with a metal plate on its end and the height of it is λ/4. The electromagnetic numerical model of body in established on the basis of anatomy, in which, the different tissues are identified by different colors. The computational results show the different circumstances and the different position of the cellular phone will greatly affect the field distributions in the body
